How to Use: A Beginner’s Guide
For Internal Use (Tea):
Measure: Mix 1 teaspoon of dried soapwort root into a glass.
Heat & Steep: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the roots, cover, and let steep for 10–15 minutes.
Strain & Sip: Strain carefully and drink 1 to 2 times daily. (Note: Soapwort should never be consumed in large doses or over prolonged periods, as high saponin intake can cause digestive upset).
For External Use (Cosmetic Hair & Skin Rinse):
Measure: Add 2 tablespoons of dried root to a pot with 2 cups of water.
Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and gently simmer covered for 5–10 minutes.
Cool & Apply: Strain and allow the liquid to cool completely. Use as a natural hair and scalp rinse, a gentle facial wash, or a soothing body tonic.
