About Us
Welcome to Gaia Light
Gaia
Pronunciation: "GUY-uh" (/ˈɡaɪə/)
Meaning: From ancient Greek, meaning "land" or "earth." In mythology, Gaia is the primordial goddess and mother of all life. In modern science, the name inspires the Gaia Hypothesis, which views Earth as a single, self-regulating living system.
At Gaia Light, our journey is rooted in a deep love for nature, holistic living, and a genuine desire to uplift both people and the planet. We believe that what we bring into our homes and onto our bodies should nurture our well-being while honoring the Earth.
Meet Brittany
Founder & Owner
Born and raised in Michigan, Brittany is a devoted wife and mother who has homeschooled her children. A creative soul with a passion for art, travel, good food, and animals, she brings an optimistic, spiritual approach to life.
Brittany has a deep-rooted passion for natural wellness and the healing power of herbs. Believing firmly in personal choice with zero judgment, she took a holistic, herbal route after experiencing postpartum hypertension leading to chronic hypertension, choosing a natural path over pharmaceuticals, successfully bringing her blood pressure back to normal, and embracing natural freedom. When her son struggled with allergy-induced asthma and eczema, she turned to holistic herbs for his health, which has drastically improved his symptoms. Alongside Gaia Light, she is also a published children's book author under the pen name Brittany Bobo, with several books like Count to Twelve With Me and The Little Chef's Guide to Yummy Colors available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
