Sana Vida Copper Water Filtration Systems

Sana Vida Copper Water Filtration Systems

Timeless wellness meets advanced filtration.

The Sana Vida Copper Water Filtration System is a bridge between ancient Ayurvedic tradition and modern water purity. Hand-hammered by master artisans from heavy-gauge recycled copper, this vessel pairs the natural antimicrobial properties of copper with elite filtration technology. When combined with CeraMetix® filters, it provides a powerful, 100% plastic-free solution that ensures every sip is as crisp, refreshing, and clean as possible—built to last for generations.

The Holistic Benefits of Copper & Filtration

Choosing a copper filtration system is a choice for a more intentional, holistic lifestyle, blending structural health benefits with advanced science.

The Oligodynamic Effect: Copper is naturally antimicrobial. Historic texts dating back to 2,200 B.C. record its use for sterilizing drinking water, as it naturally inhibits the growth of bacteria and viruses.

Ayurvedic Balance: According to Ayurvedic practice, water stored in copper becomes "Tamra Jal," which helps balance the three doshas, supports digestive health, and boosts immunity.

Elite Contaminant Reduction: Powered by CeraMetix® ceramic and AquaMetix® core technology, the optional filter elements remove over 99% of lead, chlorine, chloramines, cysts, and pathogenic bacteria, alongside heavy metals, VOCs, and fluoride—all without using activated alumina.

Pure Hydration: Storing and filtering water through copper and advanced carbon adsorption helps maintain a natural balance, resulting in water that tastes exceptionally fresh and clean.

Celebrating 30 Years of Sertodo Copper

Living History In 1997, Jonathan began hauling copper between Texas and Michoacán, Mexico, driven by the belief that tools should carry the soul of their makers. From those long drives emerged Sertodo Copper, an Austin-based workshop dedicated to turning recycled copper into honest, hand-hammered pieces that celebrate the marks of the hammer over mass production.

Elevated Craft Our small team of artisans has spent decades mastering this craft through patience and hard work. Unlike big retailers, we stay close to the work—refining designs based on real-world use and ensuring every piece meets our heirloom standards. We offer refined craftsmanship wrapped in a grounded, accessible attitude.

The Texas & Mexico Connection Woven into our DNA is a deep respect for the environment and the traditions of our artisan partners. By using thick-gauge recycled copper and repairable construction, we create "working heirlooms" for those who value performance and integrity. We approach every relationship with the same honesty that guides our craft.

Care and Maintenance

Daily Care: Wash with warm water and a soft sponge.

Dry Immediately: To avoid spotting, dry your dispenser with a soft cotton towel immediately after washing.

Maintain the Shine: Use a copper polish (like Wright’s) or a natural mixture of lemon and salt to restore the golden glow.

Natural Patina: If left unpolished, the copper will develop a rich, dark patina over time, which many enthusiasts prefer as a mark of its "living" history.

Caution: DO NOT use steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh chemical detergents.
