Handmade Ceramic Ritual Bowl: We are honored to collaborate with Andi from Good Hearted Woman. Each bowl is meticulously handcrafted in her Denver, CO studio, ensuring that your ritual begins with a piece of functional, local art.
Wooden Mixing Spoon: To preserve the mineral integrity of our formulas, we’ve included a wooden spoon. It is vital to avoid metal when working with clay-based masks, as metal can pull the charge from the clay and reduce its effectiveness.
Goat-Hair Application Brush: Experience the soft, meditative sweep of a professional-grade brush. This natural-fiber tool ensures a thin, even layer of product while providing a gentle, calming sensation on the skin.
The Merigold Anthem Card: The heart behind everything we do. If you need inspiration to settle into your moment, we encourage you to read this anthem at the start of your ritual. Use it to set your own intention or simply as a guide to help you breathe and be still.
The Merigold Mission
Reclaiming the Space to Breathe.
Founded by Hillary Tijerina—a nurse, nutritionist, and mother—Merigold was born from the realization that "the body keeps the score" of our incessant hustle. We offer clean, organic skincare that doubles as a permission slip to pause. Our name honors the Meri (the strong, fierce women of Papua New Guinea) and the healing Marigold (Calendula) of the Mexican highlands.
Merigold is more than skincare; it is a movement to reclaim our moments from endless to-dos. We believe in nourishing the skin, body, and soul with quality ingredients so that women can emerge truly refreshed, rooted in their natural beauty, and ready to lead.
How to Practice Your Ritual
1. Prepare the Space: Find a quiet area where you can remain undisturbed for 15 minutes.
2. Measure & Mix: Using your Wooden Spoon, combine your favorite Merigold mask powder and water in the Ceramic Ritual Bowl. Stir until you reach a creamy consistency.
3. Set the Intention: Read the Anthem Card. Close your eyes and decide what this moment is for: rest, clarity, or simply silence.
4. Apply: Use the Goat-Hair Brush to paint the mask onto your face with slow, intentional strokes.
5. The Pause: While the mask dries, do nothing. You have no obligations during this time.
6. Cleanse: Rinse with water, wash your tools, and return to your day feeling truly refreshed.
