About the Artist: Publishing the Stories of the Forest
As an artist, my mission is Ostranenie: presenting common things in an unfamiliar way to enhance our perception of the familiar. Trees are nature’s historians, recording everything from the activity of a wood ant to shifts in the global climate. I see myself as a publisher of stories written in wood. My process is rooted in a deep respect for the environment:

-
Ethically Sourced: I never cut down trees. I gather wood only from previously fallen trees in significant locations, such as National Parks and wilderness areas.
-
Hand-Pressed: Every piece is a hand-pulled woodcut print, not a machine reproduction. I consider each a work of art as unique as the tree itself.
-
A Living Record: By printing the cross-section of a tree, I am sharing a story written over decades or centuries. Each print is hand-signed as a mark of my craftsmanship.
National Park Collection: Set of 3 Hand-Pressed Woodcuts
Bring the spirit of the great American wilderness into your home.

This curated set of three 18x24 inch prints features the unique life stories of trees from Alaska, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. This collection serves as a beautiful, organic timeline of some of North America's most majestic landscapes.
Why You’ll Love This Set
-
Authentic Craftsmanship: These are actual handmade woodcuts. Using high-quality textured ink, I capture the raw, intricate detail of Cedar and Pine that a digital print simply cannot match.
-
Meaningful Symbolism: Tree rings symbolize growth, memory, and the passage of time. This makes the set a perfect "paper" gift for a 1st anniversary or a thoughtful biology-themed gift for nature lovers.
-
Versatile Statement: At 18x24 inches each, these prints work beautifully as a triptych gallery wall or as individual accents to bring a sense of tranquility to your office, living room, or bedroom.
-
Sustainable & Ethical: Sourced from naturally fallen timber, these prints allow you to celebrate the rugged beauty of our National Parks with a clear conscience.
Customization & Care
-
Framing Advice: To ensure safe arrival, prints are shipped unframed. I recommend local framing or high-quality hanger frames to highlight the natural textures of the paper.
-
My Guarantee: I stand by my work. If you aren’t completely happy with the artwork, I offer a full, no-questions-asked refund.
