About the Artist: Publishing the Stories of the Forest

As an artist, my mission is Ostranenie: presenting the familiar in an unfamiliar way to deepen our perception of the world. Trees are nature’s historians, silently recording everything from the footprints of a wood ant to shifts in the global climate. I see myself as a publisher of stories written in wood. My process is rooted in respect for the environment:

• Ethically Sourced: I never cut down trees. Every print comes from wood gathered from previously fallen trees in significant locations, such as National Parks and historical sites.

• Hand-Pressed: Inspired by the pioneering work of Bryan Nash Gill, I hand-pull every print. These are authentic woodcuts, not machine-made reproductions.

• Truly Unique: Because no two trees—and no two hand-pressings—are identical, you are receiving a one-of-a-kind piece of history.
